MEMPHIS— The Utah Jazz won its seventh straight game, defeating the Grizzlies 92-88 in Memphis.
Turning point: Up just two with 2:23 remaining in the third quarter, the Jazz closed the third quarter on a 5-2 run, with all five points from Joe Johnson, to end the quarter up five. Utah wouldn’t trail in the fourth.
The hero: Ricky Rubio continued his offensive hot streak, scoring 29 to lead the Jazz in scoring.
• The backcourt of Ricky Rubio and Rodney Hood combined to score 47 points.
• Utah outrebounded Memphis 43 to 36
• The Jazz shot 33 free throws, making 28 of them. Memphis was 12 for 16 from the charity stripe.
