Report: Shelvin Mack to sign a 2-year, $12 million deal with Orlando Magic
Shelvin Mack will soon be getting a significant pay raise.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Friday evening that the Utah Jazz free-agent point guard will be signing a 2-year, $12 million contract with the Orlando Magic.
The sixth-year pro out of Butler has spent the last year and a half with the Jazz after arriving in a 2016 trade from the Atlanta Hawks. He just finished a contract that paid him $2.43 million last season.
During his stint in Utah, the 6-foot-3, 203-pound Mack was the starting floor general at times and then didn’t play at all in 27 regular season games last year when the Jazz carried four point guards.
For his career, Mack has averaged 6.3 points and 2.9 assists per game.
